Twins Rock!

May 3rd I will be doing the March of Dimes, March for Babies. Just typing this brings tears to my eyes. I have said it before and I will say it again but having Jack and Bella early was by far the scariest moment of my life. Thanks to the March of Dimes (as well as the wonderful care from the NICU at York Hospital) they are happy, healthy, thriving kids. I am marching to honor them and all of the other miracles that I know. If you would like to donate and help Team Twins Rock raise money please donate on-line at (sorry, I don't know how to make it clicky, you just have to cut and paste it)

http://www.marchforbabies.org/s_team_page.asp?si=40F254A2-F307-4639-8B6E-8F9FDFB39E65&SeID=1324415&prefill=

or you can mail me a check. (If you mail me a check please make it out to me. You can also make it out to the March of Dimes but last year if I donated on-line in the last 48 hours before the walk there was a company that matched my contributions. So all those that had given me cash or a check had counted twice. I don't know if they are doing that this year again or not but I figured it couldn't hurt and I promise all the money I receive will go directly to them).
So if you are able to donate we all thank you!!

So here are some pictures of them playing outside:
We have a two person wagon but for some reason they still fight over the one person wagon (in all fairness this one does make construction noises when you press the buttons)

Of course Bella is the dominant one and tells Jack that this is hers

Jack opens the door and it makes Bella cry... she is not ready to share yet

but eventually does anyway

Now see here is the problem with bringing them outside.... while they are great kids, they don't seem to listen well and will often go in different directions. So I end up having to grab one and put them under my arm and then run and grab the other one... fun times :)

But they love it so I will continue to chase them and hope they soon learn what "Stay here" means

Jack likes to try to climb... he is a far way from doing that tough

Have to run and clean up breakfast.... ahhhhh, the glamourous life

I can not believe that they are 19 1/2 months old....

We just took them to their 18 month well baby visit so they could get shots (I HATE when they have to get shots, it just breaks my heart). Mom came with me thankfully because there is no way I could do that by myself. We all survived, with a lot of tears shed, but the pediatrician just confirmed that I have two healthy kids :)
Jack is 24 lbs and 32 inches tall (he is in the 25% for weight and 50% for height.... and still in the high 90% for his head circumference)
Bella is 26 lbs and 33 inches tall ( she is in the 75% for weight and 80% for height)
She told me to fatten Jack up but other than that nothing exciting going on with him. Bella was given some cream for her eczema, poor thing has red welts on her legs, but they don't seem to bother her.
Just some quick pics as I have to run and clean .... good times here in the Druck home

One other quick note.... Today is my 3rd Anniversary with Jason..... I can't believe that it has only been three years, we have grown so much in that time and have had so many good things happen... Happy Anniversary Jason! (You are one lucky lucky guy)

Peeps!

Peeps are above and beyond my favorite Easter candy... I bought a pack of them and let Jack and Bella try them for the first time. Nothing like sugar coated sugar!
Jack looked at it at first and squished it and then decided he should try it

He decided that he liked them

He did get annoyed with them though.... he did not like how the marshmallow stuck to his hand.
Bella on the other hand didn't want to touch it. Then I remembered that Bella was a lady.... I put the piece of peep on her fork and she ate it

That was their one and only Peep of the season....
-------
Nothing too exciting going on here.... they are playing more together... Jack likes to "tickle" Bella which usually makes her laugh at first but then Jack takes it one step too far and pokes her or something and makes her cry.
They LOVE being outside!! I have some pictures that I need to post one day when I have some more time....
Bella is crying, better run

Happy Easter!!!

We took the kids yesterday to get their pictures done for Easter. At home Jack is the whiney one and Bella is all about herself... she loves to look in the mirror and admire her beauty. Jack likes to be held and cry (there is more to him, he is an awesome boy, it just has been a rough week). So I was not looking forward to pictures because I figure I would have to jump around like a monkey to even get Jack to look at the camera.... boy was I wrong.
Everything is set up and we bring Bella in the room figuring we would get some good pictures of her before chaos in sued. Once she saw that there were a bunch of people looking at her she froze and cried.... how could I forget that she does not like being the center of attention? She did the same thing at her birthday party. Anyway, pick her up and we are going to try Jack... he sits down and smiles and revels in the fact that he has the attention of two ladies besides us and he just laughs and smiles

My nephew Connor was along to get some pictures taken as well... so we would put them together to try for pictures... this was the ONLY one of the three of them we could get together...
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Arent' you glad you were not there?
So then we tried to get some of just Jack and Connor. I love this one of Jack and think it is so funny of Connor... I think I will show this to Connor's first girlfriend
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
We then decided to go to the back room so there would not be so many people looking at Bella.... this is what happened
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
We did end up with three decent pictures and these are the ones that we purchased....
My goodness, is Jack not cute??
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
For the picture of Bella that we bought it is cropped but I think this one is kind of funny.... I am lying down and she is sitting on my belly playing with my cell phone
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
and here is the one that I just had to get not only because it is the only one I have of the two of them together but because this IS my life. We had set up some blocks hoping that Bella would play with them. Well this was WAY too much for Jack the Destroyer to handle... he got loose and tackled the blocks. He made Bella cry which made him laugh.....

Happy Easter everyone....
(Grandmom I will be sending some pictures out to you... we love you and miss you!!)

When Mommy is away.....

Daddy does the hair? The day I left for New Orleans Jason was awesome and got the kids ready so that I could get myself ready. He also did Bella's hair:

Yup, that is a "ponytail" on the front of her head

It looks like they are having an in depth conversation here, no doubt Bella is trying to convince Jack that she is THE queen.

Then I did Bella's hair before I left

I teased Jason about his beautician skills but in all reality he did an awesome job while I was gone. Bella's hair might not have been done but the kids were happy and the house was spotless when I got back.... I think I may have to go on vacation more often!
