Happy Halloween!

Jack and Bella really enjoyed Halloween this year. Around here trick or treat is all screwy, different townships have different days. Shawn (my brother) lives 5 minutes from me but is in a different town and they had trick or treat on Friday night. Mom who lives 15 minutes away had it on Saturday night and our town had it tonight.
Jason and I took Jack and Bella around with Mom, Jess, and Calla on Friday night. I fully expected that we would be out for a half hour tops... again my kids proved me wrong. Jack (Mr. I Love Candy) walked from door to door for an hour and a half. Held out his pail to each one and then stared at them in total amazement when they gave him candy. He just loved it. He would not talk when he was around strangers but when we were on the street I asked him if he was "all done" or if he wanted "more candy". His response "YEAH! More Candy!"
Bella liked it to. She had Jason pull her around in a wagon and she basically spent the night in the wagon eating a lolli-pop.
Calla was great, she was really out going and very polite. Well except if it was a "scary" house then there was NO way she was going near it. She was really cute when we were done. She was so proud of her self and was telling Shawn how she went trick or treating.
I didn't get great pictures but you will get the idea of how cute the kids were :)
(by the way Bella was a cupcake, Jack a hamburger and Calla was a kitty)

Yes, I am alive :)

Just kidding... it seems like forever since I have updated the blog but I am sure you can understand that life has been a little crazy here lately. I am still not really going to write much. I am doing well. My back gets tired easily and I still have to rest but I am able to do everything that I was before and so far there has not been any of the pain that I had prior to the surgery **knock on wood**.
The kids are great, they are full swing into the terrible 2's. While they are so adorable their tantrums are enough to make me pull my hair out... it does get easier, right? Please say so.
A couple quick pictures and then I am going to rest :)
My mother gave Jack chocolate pudding with lunch one day... he LOVES it

Grounded....

that is totally how I feel right now. Sitting in my room not being able to hang out with my kids. Luckily I have awesome friends and family. This is what arrived in the mail today:

yummmm..... chocolate covered strawberries. Jason and the kids were very excited too.
I am getting better, day by day. I can get up and walk around some. I look forward walking outside to get the mail each day to get some fresh air. I will say the total highlight of my whole day is the fact that I have such an awesome grandmother. Just about every day I get a letter in the mail. If I don't get one one day, I get two the next. I guess she must love me as much as I love her!
I am able to see the kids some. I actually better run so that I can go downstairs and snuggle on the couch with one of them while they drink their milk and get ready for bed.

Jack came to visit me yesterday. This is why I can not be around them all the time... they love to jump!
he was not feeling very photogenic and he also had just gotten out of the bath that is why he is not fully dressed
