They were just monkeying around....

Jack and Bella had their 2nd Birthday Party yesterday and can I just say that the weather was beautiful! 75 and partly sunny (okay, it wasn't perfect, the wind was wicked. We had to take down the easy-up because it was blowing it in half almost. Also twice when kids were not in the bounce house we had to catch it because it tried to fly away. I am not complaining though).
Get ready for some pictures because there are a lot:
The theme was monkeys so we had chocolate monkey cupcakes

and than banana cupcakes with cream cheese icing


Jason was such a good sport. On Thursday night he sat beside me with glue stick in hand to help me make the monkey cups

the other food I will highlight was the chocolate covered marshmallows... they were pretty fun to make and very tasty to eat

I tried to get a picture of the 4 of us before any of us got too messy (and I am glad I did because the kids got dirty quick)

Bella loves Jason's friend Jeremy (Jack does too for that matter) and he chased her

and she would run and squeal in delight

There were a total of 8 kids here and 30 ish adults and all of the kids played so well together, it made me so happy to see my kids so happy.

All the kids loved the pinata

this is a pinata that you pull a string and the lucky string is what makes all of the candy fall out. Bella found the magic string


Bella did not want the candy just the jewelry (I am teaching her right)

They then played in the bounce house some more. I will say that all of the children were so well behaved. None of them fought which I just thought was amazing!

then he just got plain messy

They opened a couple of presents

Bella had to make sure all of her jewels fit

Bella had one more slice of watermelon

Make sure you don't take her watermelon... she would give up her cupcake but not her watermelon

and then just kind of relaxed in her house

Again they had a wonderful night! I am so happy that so many were able to come out to help Bella and Jack celebrate their birthday.

P.S. I have some pictures of their actual birthday to share at another time but I just have to post two... Bella loves shoes
She kicked off her comfy crocs to put on her new heeled shoes

Even once she had her footed pajamas on she HAD to have her shoes on. She did not get her love of heels from me.
