I was folding the sheets while the kids were playing and Bella had gotten the container of wipes. I come out and there are wipes everywhere (Bella was cleaning with them because that was what she was doing yesterday as she was cleaning off the crayon she scribbled all over her walls *sigh*). I asked them if they are allowed to play with the wipes and Jack's response was, "But Spider-Man was cold". It is kinda hard to argue with that logic. So now the wipes need to be put up higher. Here is Jack with said Spider-Man (he just got his hair cut and looks like such a big boy)

But Spider-Man is cold....
I mean, how can you argue with that logic??

Finally... the rest of the Easter Pictures :)
May has been a crazy busy month for us. Here are some of the highlights:
The kids are potty training (which they have been doing really well with but they need a lot more attention).
I did my first ever 5k race. It was a goal of mine when I joined Weight Watchers. I didn't set any records but I finished (and I wasn't last).
A friend of mine, Angela (read more about her here) was doing the Susan G Komen breast cancer walk (she is currently kicking cancer's ass and recently completed her radiation!) She lives in Minnesota so I could not be there to walk so I organized an on-line raffle in which we raised just about $3,000! I have amazing friends who donated prizes and then donated yet again to win!
We are getting ready to go camping for the first time this season. Jack is very very excited and keeps asking to go. We have the camper out in our driveway so Jason could get it ready and the kids keep staring at it.
So that has been a good part of what has been going on here so please excuse that it has taken well over a month to finish the Easter pictures.
We finished up the day at Mom's.

and with that we are running late to go to Speech Therapy! Gotta run!

Easter
Finally some pictures from Easter itself.
We had a small egg hunt at home before we went over to Jason's parents for breakfast with the family.
Trying to get the three kids to look at the camera and smile was an impossible feat that morning
Jack and Bella with our nephew, Connor

Well the boys did well

The Easter Bunny went there too

Some more attempts of a picture of the three of them

Love Bella's face in this one

Jason's parents put up a zip line in the back yard for the grandkids
Bella was trying to ride on Uncle Roger's leg

Connor got right on

So did Bella:

Jack was a bit more reserved

We tried for a family picture

At least if it is just Jason and I we are both looking at the camera!

____ I have some more pictures but I hear Bella up downstairs so I better run!

The boardwalk!
After we left Grandmom's last weekend we took the kids up to the beach for a bit. They had such a great time there as well.
We played some skee-ball

and then I found the best invention ever for the boardwalk. They now have these crane machines that you can play until you win. Of course they cost more but the guarantee of a prize to the parent of 3 year old twins is priceless. Oh the crying that could have happened if only one got a toy!
Jack said he wanted a blue ball
He starts to cheer and jump because he sees he has it

Then this was the best $2 ever spent... he was jumping up and down and hugging it telling it how much he loves it. There was a lady behind me who had to stop to watch him and commented on how awesome he is.

Bella then decided she wanted a soccer ball. I thought for sure she would have went for the Hello Kitty dolls but she wanted the white ball

I thought she was going to crawl in after it

She was excited as well... she just wanted to hug it

So we went to go turn in the tickets from skee-ball and they got some "wonderful" crap. Eye patches, slinkies, bracelets, and spider rings all around!

Arggghhhhh!

The kids then enjoyed some ice cream

and I just had to take a picture of my pizza because between Weight Watchers and living in PA I have not had a great piece of pizza in a long time

Jason then went to go get a drink and the kids and I were watching the ocean. Jack says, "oh Momma, I just wish I could touch the sand". I could not argue, we all went on the sand
Me and my first mate

They were loving playing on the sand and Jack says to me "Oh Momma, I would just love to put my toe in the water". and then he gave me that look. I can normally resist that look but not today... we rolled up our pants and headed down to the ocean

Look at that happy boy!

Bella's turn!

The problem is that a wave came faster than I thought... I am such a good mom that I saved Bella...

So I got a little wet!
One more look at the ocean

but we ran away in time

Later on when we were finally on the way home they were both exhausted

Bella would not take her eye patch off!

Our visit with Grandmom...
We went to visit NJ on Saturday. It was kind of last minute because of the beautiful weather. We ended up having an Easter egg hunt at Aunt Jil's and I think everyone had a great time.
The Easter Bunny left a basket and some toys on the front porch

We then went out back to find some eggs

"Hey Grandmom, look what I got!"

Jil was trying to get their attention and make them smile while she took a picture and Jack was very entertained

Apparently Jack has mad frisbee skills and could whip that little thing like it was nobody's business

He would put his whole body into it

"I did it!"

I think Bella is plotting something over there

or just wanting a nap
Jack went to sit next to her

and I asked him to give her a kiss

Bella wanted nothing to do with it

She is bracing herself for it

Finally Jack settled for a hug

Another frisbee action shot

Jil would spin one of them around

while Jason threw Bella in the air

I think the kids played Jil out

But they wanted to make sure she was alright (I had to cut them off or they would have spun all day)

We had such a wonderful time! It was one of the best days that I have had in a long time....
Oh, how I love this woman!

*I do have more pics from the boardwalk but I will post them later
