"Cupcakes... YAY YAY YAY"

Yesterday I had made cupcakes before the kids got up and figured they could ice and decorate their own later on.  Well I had them sitting up on the counter out of reach....
I was changing Jack's diaper and getting him dressed and was calling for Bella to come get dressed.  She did not respond.  I went to find her.  She was standing in front of the counter yelling "CUPCAKES YAY YAY YAY" and dancing throwing her arms up in the air.  She was SO proud of herself.   I tired to video tape it but by then the moment was over but it was honestly one of the most fun moments of being a mom so far.  Yes, she should not have eaten them but I also should have kept them out of reach.  She is getting so tall.  She was just so proud of herself and made up her own song and dance ... I love her!

I took a picture of her this morning just because she looks so darn cute.  She wanted to wear her pink skirt and just twirled in it.  Keep in mind that Bella hates getting her picture taken so as soon as I grabbed the camera she slunked in the chair and fussed so you will just have to imagine her big smile

I have a lot more to go over sometime soon... I went to Georgia the end of March and then we all went to go see "Princesses on Ice" and I have lots of pictures of each but just don't have the time.  I have been sick and finally after a week and a half I am almost back to normal... so there will be more to come soon :)

Love you Grandmom!!!

Help Momma.... Stuck!

These are the words Jack was yelling as I was cleaning up.  I didn't go right away because Jack likes to say he is stuck.  For example he will put a box on his head and yell "stuck" when he clearly isn't.
He yelled again so I turned around

So of course I grabbed my camera then I got him out.

There is always room for JELL-O

Two weeks ago we made instant pudding and the kids just loved it.  They love using wooden spoons to mix just about anything.  Yesterday we were all kinda bored so I decided to make some more pudding.  It is simple enough:  add the mix, 2 cups milk and then stir.  Then here is the part that gets you.... you have to wait a whole 5 minutes for it to set.... in kid time 5 minutes must be an eternity because the first time we made it it only set for 3 and 1/2 minutes because I thought their heads were going to explode.  Yesterday they were a little frustrated but handled it much better.  I took most of the pudding out and put it a container to save and then let them eat from the bowl... In their eyes I was mom of the year.   Apparently eating pudding from a big bowl with wooden spoons must equal heaven because they just loved it (I wish I could be so easily amused).
Waiting patiently for it to set:

Then here they are eating it... yes there are a lot of pics, but what can I say, my kids are cute :)

Poor Bella has a lump on her forehead from falling off the chair.... I am pretty sure the floor took it worse than she did, she is one tough little girl

10 minutes of my day....

Two days ago the kids just LOVED their bellies.  Not only did they love their bellies but they also loved each other's bellies.  So just touching each other's bellies put them into hysterics

That lasted for about 4 minutes then they moved onto bubbles and "more bubbles"

and then 2 minutes later they were tired of jumping and laid down to rest.  Bella "hid"

then they both hid

Then they both said "cheeeeese" and we rounded out 10 minutes of our day and moved onto books
(and yes that is Bella saying "cheese")

Big Kid Beds!

Jack and Bella are officially big kids now (well except for the potty part).  Bella loves to jump.  She will spend an hour or so in her crib jumping up and down.  She has broken the springs countless times and then on Friday I went to get her from her nap and the whole front side of her mattress was basically touching the carpet.  We decided to turn their cribs into toddler beds.  Jack was a HUGE help.

He even brought his own tools

Jack said "here Daddy" and handed him the screwdriver... Jason didn't need it but I thought this picture was funny because it looked like Jack was hitting him with it.  I promise you Jason was not hurt

Ta-dah!  Bella's big girl bed:

Jason went to go do Jack's and I tried to keep them busy so Jason would not have as much "help" as it was getting close to bed time.  We were hanging out on the couch and Jack was just so happy and kept giving hugs

He loves the camera and looking at pictures of himself... he saw this one and thought it was hilarious

Both kids are doing pretty good in the beds.  Bella still jumps but not as much... we will see how they continue to do

Robot Bella

About 4 months ago or so (I am guessing... I kind have lost all concept of time) I got the kids these two robot hats from the dollar store.  They still love them.  This morning Bella was playing with her new dolls and she decided to put the hat on.  (she was also only wearing a shirt because her pants are in Jack's room and he was sleeping at the time, another thing on my to do list is to separate their clothes into their own rooms... my guess is that by the time they are 8 I will have the time to do it)

in the background in the cardboard house that Jason built for the kids while I was in New York over 3 weeks ago.  That thing is still standing and the kids love it more than just about anything they own.

She was also taking turns "feeding" her dolls and then herself

This past weekend Mom gave them an early Easter present and the kids love it.  Our living room looks like Toys R Us threw up in it, but that is okay, in about 20 years it may look like adults live there too

My 100th Post :)

It has been over 3 weeks since I updated and this is also my 100th post on the blog so I guess it should be a special one... well it is.  Tomorrow (the 23rd) is my Grandmother's birthday.... YAY!!!  Happy Birthday Grandmom!  I called her today to wish her a happy day because she has more friends than I do and I did not want to tie up her line.  The kids have been sick so we are still working on her birthday present but that will be a little bit late so I am going to post my favorite picture of us
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Isn't she beautiful?
I did try to get some fun pictures of the kids but they were just not in the mood today so I had to add some "fun" to it
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
We did have some fun this morning and here is a sneak peak at part of Grandmom's present
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
I told Jack to say "Cheeeeese"
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
I asked Bella the same thing and all I got was a look

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
She ignored me and went right on painting

Jack got really into it

Here are a couple older pictures from a couple weeks ago when we got a lot of snow:
Jason is plowing our driveway and if you look really closely you can see that he has some "help"

Yup, that little pink blob is Bella

Bella loves the Rhino (the Rhino is a two seater four wheeler that he added a plow to for our yard and driveway).  She still does not talk much but she can say "ride" when she sees it.  It has seat belts and she is the calmest I have ever seen her when she rides in that thing.  She is SO her daddy's girl.

So I really do promise to try to update and add pictures more frequently... I really have been busy lately BUT I am never too busy to wish my most favorite woman in the world a Happy Birthday!  WE LOVE YOU GRANDMOM!!
